Synopsis, Human
This is an experimental short video called Human. I have taken footages of small pieces of sculpture, which I have made myself. They are portraits or faces of human figures. Most of them have severe or suffering facial expression. The images are ”floating” one upon the other on the screen. A narrator is speaking poetic sentences which refer to the figures. (in Finnish and in English)

Short biography
I am a Finnish sculptor and a video artist, born 1956. I live and work in Espoo. Educated in Finnish Academy of Fine Arts in Helsinki. Graduated as a bachelor of art (sculptor) in 1986. I started to make videos in 2013. I am interested in the relation between the Nature and a human being, also psychological and existential issues. Moreover observations of outer objects and the incidents between them. The sculpture that I have made for 26 years affects also to my videos. I often call my videos video poems. My videos have been selected to several international screenings since 2014.
