Behind this page but not disappearing
Synopsis
If you’re wandering aimlessly on a beach, for example, as I’m doing now, there’ no specific colour of smoke. If, however, you’re travelling for a specific reason it’s different. It’s like those moments when you get back home after an exhausting day’s work and you project a shape around you which leaves you and heads towards your destination. “I stood there, staring into the horizon, trying to distinguish or imagine shapes and forms reflected in the clouds and the clear water. Trying to see waves, smoke and energy fields… The messages we ourselves emit. Every cell in a body and every molecule and atom in that cell is in a state of incessant vibration, making up a greater amount of energy which is ble to transform the electric properties of the space they occupy. The message of
change travels to other places at the speed of light. Given that our organisms are different, each of us echoes-reverberates in a frequency that is a personal trait, as unique as our fingerprints. We are like radars. Sensors, sensitive to messages from similar distant organisms. (Close ups of ruins-skin-soul of things-digging into matter). all paths are well-trodden, full of people and murmurs. But there is one that differs, a path with a soul. A path that, without hesitation, begins the rhythm of its own life. Anyway to know something well one must really touch it. Not meaning to be crude-to my mind only inaction(inertia) is crude. I focus on my bare feet, on this piece of soft earth. There could be many routes leading to the same place, though none of them would be as suitable as this one. I let it affectionately carry my bare feet. Paths like this one appear in nature of their own volition. They are the result of the spiritual relationship that connects the earth and its people, those who can sense the rhythm of its breath. Such a path, embellishes the landscape rather than violate and disfigure it. A common thread that runs through identical or disparate elements and ends up being a state of things retired unto itself which cannot be seen through one’s eyes but can rather be felt. The lights pulsing timorously in the firmament are perhaps a rhythm of recoiling into themselves. Perhaps if we are at harmony with them we will find the meaning…the way…The earth is living, tossing in her sleep, dreaming, stirring, breathing, panting. Her humours course through her body. Her waters convey information. We grow, we mature with her, or so we believe. (Stretching) Spreading her senses towards the universe, observing and waiting for the echo of the melody which will signal a new super-sensuous dance. (dancer on sand). Ready to respond.
Born in Athens, Greece .
She is a graduate (BA with Distinction) in Fine Arts and Technology and also has a Masters degree in Digital Arts(university of the Arts London). She was the course leader in Digital Arts at iversity (platform for open massive online courses, Berlin) for the period 2014-2016. More over, she works on her own videos, as well as sculptures made from polyester.She is the Co founder and video artist/director of ‘state of flux’ dance group and member of visual container ITALIAN VIDEOART PLATFORM,Since 2008, the first italian videoart distributor and platform for videoart promotion and special projects . Her video work also has been shown in the international organization for video projections “time is love screenings”, the ‘Shoah Film Collection, artvideo KOELN & A Virtual Memorial Foundation’ , in eye’s walk digital festival, a festival for art in public space as well as in Madatac Contemporary Festival of New Media Arts & Advanced Audio Visual Technologies in Madrid Spain.
On 2009, received an Honorable Mention award from LICC (London Creative awards), (Skin, Video)
On 2010, was one of the Representative artists in European meeting of young artists, of the European network for town twinning, congress hall National Center of scientific research ‘Democritus’, Athens cultural center.
She has shown her work in many art festivals and exhibition spaces worldwide(Greece,Italy,Canada,Sweden,London,USA,Spain,Peru,Argentina,Bulgaria,Morocco,Paris,Hong kong )
Her work has been published in womencinemakers magazine , biennale edition, twice , Independent’s Women Cinema covers news and events of interest to independent filmmakers, including distribution and grants, reports from the Cannes Film Festival, interviews and a special section dedicated to the future of the film industry.

Her video work also was presented to the international conference of Vortex video 12th edition In Valletta Malta
Recently was selected for cyfest 12 in Saint Petersburg and for MDINA contemporary art biennale in Malta and biennale di soncino. a marco , In collaboration with visual container and Over the real festival. Last but not least, Participation in the Levante Jazz Festival – A music bridge between Italy and Greece (Jazz Festival of the Eastern Mediterranean – A musical bridge between Italy and Greece) a co-production of the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, the Italian Embassy in Greece and the Italian Educational Institute of Athens. This is an online event, in which ten bands from Greece and Italy will present the best tracks from their jazz repertoire. A total of five online shows, which kicked off on European Music Day (June 21), showcase various styles of this global music idiom, such as bossa nova, gypsy swing or vocal a capella covers, and there is a unique combination of innovative video projections. artists (Angelina Voskopoulou, Miguel Gomez)Participation with video: the “Literary Travel Park in Greece and the wider Greece”, with the acronym Polysemy, organizes an action in the public space with works by international artists. It is the creation of three video art installations on the exterior surfaces of buildings – landmarks of three cities in the Ionian Islands and Puglia: Corfu, Bari and Taranto. Three cities, where the interaction of the two cultures is intense, both in monuments, in language and in culture.
